There’s nothing better than having a Sunday-Funday attending VPA 2014 Rd.3 at LVMS. Usually, the media pollutes the story/post with a rambunctious amount of pictures of cars, with huge smokies trailing behind them. This time, we’ll hang out a little more in the pits. Yada yada yada, less reading more pic-looking!
Battle born battle ready S14 equipped with FEAL suspension components
Golden retrievers make for great tool-hounds
Old school style wheels from STR-Racing strapped on to Danny George’s FD rig, looks great on his Miata!
Just like when we were boys, stickers… stickers everywhere!
Gary’s Js4Kix S13, he flies in from Hawaii just to drive, talk about dedication!
Funny thing about wings, it looks out of place on the streets, but on the racetrack, it fits the bill.
This style of exhaust has been popularized back in Japan, but now has made it stateside
Blue-bonnets and valve covers never go out of style
Even VegasDrift’s DJ (we just call him Deejay) has his own S13 to stomp around in. Spinning wheels, spinning tracks, same thing, right?
Who ever said Mustangs have no place in drifting? This is probably one of the beastiest (if that’s a word) rigs in the pits, plenty torque, plenty loud = plenty smoke.
You’re on the right track when the wheels probably cost more than the chassis its on 🙂
Canards on drift-cars are becoming a norm
Danny George’s 2014 FD rig is plastered with the faces of all of his fans and donors. The people’s champ car indeed!
Rob Parson’s alwaysDTF S13 is hand operated. Awesome to see something like this and someone like him just killing it out here!
Odi’s Aurimas Bakchis’ FEAL suspension S14. This guy has been around for years, very down to Earth. Brennan Lang from 702Graphics.com did all his car-wrap work: simple and clean.
Blake Olsen’s S13 is practically all custom, just check out those brick-LED-headlights!
Wes Dizon prepping for the competition’s finals. Check out all the VegasDrift swagg at VegasDrift.com, order it online or pick it up at one of the events. Support your local track hosts!!
The Top-16 drivers smiling for the cameras. The amount of work required to keep the cars running by the driver’s and their teams is mind-boggling. On top of that, Nick Dizon’s (all the way at the right) hard work at keeping the each of these events requires even more dedication. But in the end, its all worth it
Older S-chassis vs newer S-chassis, ugh, if that isn’t cool, you’re an awful person, haha
Matthew’s PINK S14, ain’t nothing wrong with that. That smoke, ain’t nothing wrong with that either.
In the end, podium finishes are great, especially for the series points. However, just being here and being able to do this locally, is the bigger reward.
